Empowering entrepreneurs across Egypt
Orange Corners is an initiative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and in Egypt it is being implemented since 2020, by Outreach Egypt, under the auspices of the Ministry of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation.
In Egypt, we support 130 entrepreneurs per year in Upper Egypt and Delta region, with a target of at least 50% women-led businesses.
Our Programme
In Upper Egypt, the programme is running in Assiut and Luxor. In Delta, the programme is running in Alexandria, Dakahleya, Kafr El Sheikh, Beheira and Menoufeya.
We target young aspiring entrepreneurs with startups or small and growing businesses in sectors related to Climate and Water Smart Agriculture, Waste Management, Food Security, Manufacturing, Education and Edu-Tech, Energy, Sustainable Tourism, as well as tech-enabled startups offering solutions for pressing societal and economic challenges.
